Refund policy

 

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through discounttackle.shop.

Nothing in this policy restricts any mandatory rights available to consumers under German or European Union law, including statutory rights relating to withdrawal, conformity, defects, repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.

For a single order delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you or your designated third party acquires physical possession of the final shipment or final item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision through a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You may use the model withdrawal form included below, but its use is not mandatory.

It is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you validly withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you for the withdrawn purchase, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

Because our standard shipping is free, no standard outbound shipping charge will ordinarily be included in the reimbursement.

If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard delivery method, we are not required to reimburse the additional delivery cost.

We will issue reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, reimbursement will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. You will not be charged a reimbursement fee by us.

Returning Goods After Withdrawal

After notifying us of your withdrawal, contact info@discounttackle.shop for the applicable return instructions and return destination.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day return period expires.

Do not send a return to an address shown on a carrier label without first obtaining return instructions. Different products may require different authorized return destinations.

You bear the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the statutory withdrawal right, except where:

• We agree to pay those costs;
• The goods are defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming;
• We failed to provide legally required information about return costs; or
• Applicable law requires us to bear the costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of dispatch. This recommendation does not limit your statutory rights.

Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would generally be allowed to do in a physical shop.

You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. We will not make a deduction merely because packaging was opened where opening it was reasonably necessary to inspect the product.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory withdrawal right may not apply in circumstances provided by law, including:

• Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized;
• Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• Sealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons when unsealed after delivery;
• Goods that, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items because of their nature;
• Sealed audio recordings, sealed video recordings, or sealed computer software after unsealing;
• Digital content not supplied on a physical medium where performance began with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that the withdrawal right would consequently be lost; and
• Other products or contracts expressly excluded by applicable mandatory law.

An exception will be applied only when its legal requirements are satisfied.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Non-Conforming Products

Inspect your order after delivery. Contact us promptly at info@discounttackle.shop if an item is defective, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Include:

• Your order number;
• A description of the problem;
• Photographs or video reasonably showing the problem, where available; and
• A photograph of the shipping packaging and label where the issue concerns transit damage or an incorrect delivery.

A failure to provide photographs does not remove mandatory statutory rights where other evidence establishes the issue.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, consumers are entitled to the remedies available under applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, these may include repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction, or termination of the contract and reimbursement.

We will bear reasonable return costs for verified defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming goods where required by law. We may provide a prepaid label or another reasonable return method.

We may refuse a requested remedy if it is legally unavailable, impossible, or disproportionate, but any alternative mandatory remedy remains available.

Non-Delivery and Lost Parcels

If tracking indicates delivery but you have not received the parcel, first check the delivery location, household members, neighbors, and any carrier notice. Then contact us at info@discounttackle.shop.

The risk of accidental loss or damage generally remains with us until you or a third party designated by you receives the goods, unless you independently instructed a carrier not offered by us.

Refund Processing

After a refund is issued, your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time. Processing time controlled by a financial institution is outside our direct control.

Contact us if the refund has not appeared after a reasonable processing period.

Refused and Unclaimed Deliveries

Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not automatically constitute a valid withdrawal notice. You should separately notify us at info@discounttackle.shop if you wish to withdraw.

Reasonable return costs caused by an unjustified refusal or failure to collect may be deducted only where permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Exchanges

To request an exchange, contact info@discounttackle.shop. Exchanges depend on product availability.

Where the statutory withdrawal right applies, you may instead withdraw from the original purchase and place a separate order.

Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

Contact info@discounttackle.shop as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order. We cannot guarantee cancellation once processing has begun.

If the order has already shipped, you may use any applicable statutory withdrawal right after delivery.

The order number, goods ordered, order date, receipt date, consumer name, consumer address, and date of notice are provided in my accompanying email.

For notices submitted electronically, typing the consumer’s name in the email is sufficient to identify the sender.
